I don't know if it's better or not, but it's not a bad option. You save up on gym fees and things like that, so it's not a bad idea. My brother is a fitness freak and everyday he wakes the house up with his antics. He uses the sofa as a hold for doing stomach crunches. You can easily do pushups at home. If you have space for a pull up rod then you can fix one of these as well. Running on the streets is also another good option. This will help you keep fit. Or get one of those stationery cycle things and start cycling.

    Hi Ambika,
Yes, you can surely opt for home exercises for health and fitness. Exercising at home itself just not only save money but it also helps to save your time to travel to gym and wait for equipments to be free. Home exercises includes spot jogging, skipping, marching, lunges, push ups, pull over, squats, stair climbing, reverse dips, etc. We need to do these exercises for atleast some 30 min on first day then increasing the duration as per your comfort level but suddenly dont go for sudden rise in These all exercises would help to improve your health and fitness level at home without any equipments.
