Cycling is a cardio activity which will help reducing fat from overall body rather than your concern area. To reduce your waist line ,you need to do concern area resistance exercises like crunches, knee bend heal touch, side bends, abbs cycling, etc for atleast 20 min in a day 4/week.

    Hi Shobha,
Swati is right. Cycling dosent help to reduce your concern areas but cycling will help to reduce your body fat percentage so it will result into overall weight loss. So you need to concentrate on weight training exercises to reduce your waist line. But be ready to get inch loss as you wont get any weight loss as such and so wont be able to see it on your weighing machine. Weight training exercises helps to reduce fat mass and replace it with muscle mass so you would be able to see inch loss and can feel your body more toned.
