Walking barefoot in today's world is pretty harmful for the exterior and interior of your body. Barefoot walking exposes your foot to the ground and thus by doing this you run a risk of hurting yourself and maybe sometimes even running the risk of getting yourself infected with some disease. Say for instance you have a small cut or wound on your foot and you step on some chemical or something or say an insect and it bites, then there is chance of the foot getting infected with some virus or bacteria and thus causing you more trouble. So simply wear something and walk .

    Hey Mamtha,
Walking barefoot is not harmful if the surface on your are walking is comfortable and without any stones. Preferably you can walk on terrace or parking lot where there is more of plain surface. Otherwise walking barefoot is not a problem.
