Some of the basic tongue exercises are like
Blowing of the bubbles this may look childish but it is one of the most effective ways of strengthening your tongue muscles also your lips. Blowing harmonica is also very much useful for muscle to get stronger whenever you are busy in mouth to mouth activity. Other basic exercises are like pressing the tongue and also licking of ice cream. Licking of ice cream can also be useful for some other oral exercises. Tongue can be made stronger by using straws to suck liquids. Applying peanut butter on the lips and licking it with the tongues is also god exercise.

    Hi Anuja,
TOngue exercises are only suggested to the peoples who underwent brain injury as other than that tongue exercises are not much required. Basic tongue exercises are like rolling tongue in and out, popping it out from mouth, twisting it on side ways etc. You can do these exercises more better way by watching your tongue movements in mirror.
