To reduce weight, you need to ensure that the food that you eat is a) Healthy b) Non-fattening c) Increases your metabolism. If you're vegetarian, ensure that you eat lots of green vegetables. Avoid deep fried items and fattening foods such as cottage cheese, cheese and potatoes. If you're a non-vegetarian, have white meat products such as chicken and avoid red meat such as beef, mutton and pork. Seafood is a great option and they are rich in nutrients and are healthy option. Ensure that you don't cook chicken and seafood in a rich, high-calorie gravy. You can have them grilled and with a light dressing. You should consume lots of fruits that have high water content such as grapes, watermelons and squash.
