What is the difference between yogurt and probiotic yogurt?

I see that lot of experts nowadays recommend to go for pro-biotic yogurt. But how is it different from normal yogurt? Also, how much should I eat it in a day?

    Hi Christina,
The difference between regular yogurt and probiotic yougurt is in probiotic yogurt there is live culture of lactobacillus bacteria while in normal yogurt there is nothing like this. probiotic yogurt contains bacteria of various sorts that are thought beneficial to the body as it helps in boosting the immunity.

    Hi

Compare to probiotic & normal yogurt, Probiotic is very good for health because probiotic means live bacteria that is very beneficial for health , when you eat in required amount of probiotic yogurt.

Some studies have shown that probiotic yogurt promotes the growth of healthy bacteria in the colon which reduce the infection, improves lactose intolerance , reducing acute diarrhea & probiotics may improves nutrients bioavailability , for calcium, iron, copper, phosphorus, b-vitamins, etc.
