While we workout, our body temperature rises and so we tend to sweat alot and muscles tend to gets damage. So the food after workout should be such that ,it should be able to replace the fluid loss and helps out muscles to recover fast from the injury. So an energy drink, or any fruit juice is the best option to supply fluid to our body after 10 min of workout, but also make sure it should be at a room temperature. Also after 20 min, we need to take a proteinous diet so as to fasten the muscles recovery.

One hour before going to gym supply your body with sufficient carbs. You can have cornflakes,Idli's,toasts or biscuits. One can also have banana as it provides complex carbohydrates. It takes time to get digested but provide you enough energy. Also take a glass of water which helps you to be hydrated.Never go to gym empty stomach as it will lead to hypoglycemia(low blood sugar).
