    A healthy daily diet is one that comprises of all the food groups in balanced amounts so as to provide energy,protein,vitamins,minerals and fiber throughout the day.

    I agree with you Priyanka..for a healthy daily diet all the food groups should be incorporated in proper amounts. The basic food groups are-cereals,pulses and legumes,vegetables,fruits,milk and milk products,egg or meat,nuts and oil seeds.
