    Complex carbohydrates are polysacchrides which are rich in dietary fibers.These are good for health as they reduce blood sugar levels,cholesterol levels,helps in reducing weight and relieves from constipation.The sources of complex carbohydrates are whole grain cereals and pulses,green leafy vegetables and fruits.

    Complex carbohydrates are found in fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and grains. Some examples of foods high in starchy complex carbohydrates include bread, cereal, rice, pasta, potatoes, dry beans, carrots and corn. Green vegetables like green beans, broccoli and spinach.
