    Vitamin A has several different uses and it is an essential substance for the body to function properly. Vitamin A is required by the retina of the eye and it helps in color and low scope vision. One can face several problems if there is a dearth of this vitamin in the body. The average ug of vitamin A per day for an adult is between 900 and 3000. This can differ during the pregnancy period and children have a separate intake requirement as well. Vitamin A is found in foods such as cheese, milk, sweet potato, broccoli, carrot and pumpkin.

    Vitamin A is a fat soluble vitamins & also called as retinol , biosterol, axerophthol.

    Vitamin A found in fruits, carrot, green & yellow, orange color vegetables & fruits, cheese, cream, dairy products, milk, yogurt, eggs, liver, etc.

    Function: Vitamin A necessary for new cell growth. Promotes growth & repairs of body's tissue , bone formation & healthy skin, hair. helps in the maintenance of good eye sight & it is essential for night vision.

    It is essential for maintaining the bladder, lungs, good blood, membranes, kidneys, etc.
