Whenever you start a low carb (carbohydrate) diet your body takes some time to adjust to it. This is the phase when your body adjusts itself to use fat as the source of energy instead of sugars the phase is called the induction phase. It usually lasts for around 2 weeks. This is essential because burning the fat is very important for a healthy weight loss. Thus to change the gear of your body you should have 250 gms of vegetables and the amount of meat is unrestricted as it doesn't have carbohydrates. It is very effective in reducing weight.
