Ketogenic diet is a low glycemic diet in which the person has a low carbohydrate, high protein and high fat diet. It is a very effective diet if one needs to reduce weight very quickly and is fed up of trying a lot of diets. The foods that are allowed in the keto diet are:
• All the meats including ham, beef, pork , mutton etc.
• All the cheeses which are high in fat and protein
• All the dairy products and beverages made out of it
• Oil , butter and ghee are allowed
Some things like sugar , cereals and vegetables like potato, beetroot, sweet potato,etc have to be avoided strictly.
