    Not really. The only downside of olive oil is that it has a lot of calories. Olive oil, in fact has lots of health benefits. Studies have shown that, people who consume olive oil regularly, have a lower risk of heart diseases. Also, the chances of stroke are reduced significantly. If you're concerned about the calorie content of the olive oil, then you can try using extra virgin olive oil. This oil is the purest form of olive oil and does not undergo any processing. Olive oil also rich in omega 3 fatty acids, that is helpful in reducing the bad cholesterol in our bodies.

    No Olive Oil is not bad for health.Olive oil contains high content of monounsaturated fatty acids & its high content of antioxidant substances. Studies show that olive oil controlling LDL(bad) cholesterol levels while raising HDL(good) cholesterol level & protection against heart disease. Olive oil is very well tolerated by stomach . It is protective function has a beneficial effect on ulcers & gastritis. It lowers the incidence of gallstones formation.It lowers the risk of colon cancer as well.

    Health benefits: Olive oil is rich in monounsaturated fatty acids & antioxidants products against heart disease by helping to control cholesterol from blood. It heals the ulcers & gastritis. Olive oil reduces the risk of gall stones, improves the metabolism & lowers the risk of colon cancer. Olive oil contains good amount of vitamin A, C, D, B1, B2 & oleic acids which helps to prevent many cancers including breast cancer 7 colon cancer.

    Drawbacks: High in calories can contribute weight gain so better to limit the qty. High intake of olive oil can leads to indigestion & poor blood circulation.
