is mango good when taken during the diet program?

this summer i see lots of mango and i bought them too. are they containing fat? but i read in net that it has < 1gm of fat. what i wanted to know is, can i have as many mangoes?

how about banganapalli mangoes?

    Mangoes have calorie content, so if you overeat, you can gain weight. Otherwise it is rich source of Vitamin A and Vitamin C. It also contains fiber, magnesium, iron and antioxidants.
    The best thing is to consume in moderate amount occasionally when on a diet. Use skimmed or double toned milk with minimum sugar while making mango shake.

    thank you shikha. i am not taking any shake when i am on diet. i am taking either raw fruit or fresh juice. how about 1 mango per day? in morning / evening?

    Try to take it in the morning as during daytime your metabolism is high.If you are ready to compensate the calories in other food item and ready to work hard then
    you can take it.

    Hi Bala,

    you can take one manga a day, and substitute it to some other food ... have it in mid meals , not with meals and as a replacement to some other food . eg if u take 3 chapati in lunch .. have only 2 and have this mango after 2 hrs time. another gud way to take it is .. dun eat the entire mango in one go .. have half in the midmorning timne and have half in the mid eve time.. walk for 5 min after each time.l
