Is it safe to drink milk after eating your meal?

    Yes, it is perfectly safe to drink milk after eating your meal. Drinking milk will not affect your stomach or the digestion process. In case, you are doubtful, then give it a try once by having a glass of meal after your milk and see what happens. If all is well with your tummy and you don't feel sick then you're safe. At times we do include other dairy products like yogurt, curds and cottage cheese in our meals and they go well with all types of foods. So, drinking milk will do no harm. However not many adults drink milk after their meals. Milk doesn't go too well with hot spicy food. If you do love drinking milk after your meal, feel free to drink a glass of milk.

    Drinking a cup of lukewarm milk some time after your dinner is very good for treating insomnia. You may have milk otherwise also some time after your meals. It wont do any harm.

    In addition, it helps in some cases to relieve constipation.
