its always good to have veges in raw form as they provide you vitamins n minerals in very much pure n intact form.since after cooking many of the essential nutrients do get lost.example vit c present in veges,is lost by 25% as it comes in contact with heat.so include raw veges in your diet as much as u can....

    Hi Nidhi,
Wash each vegetable properly before consuming. If u wanna do it raw, like salad just wash it with warm water bco'z now a days lots of pesticides r used. That's why sometimes after eating raw vegetable u feel bloated or other digestion related problems.

I too agree with the above discussion, no doubt it very good to have certain vegetables like cabbage, carrots, tomatoes, cucumber etc in raw form. However, proper hygienic practices should be followed. As they might contain some residues of pesticides which are harmful to the body. Blanching with warm water is a must for these kind of vegetables.

I agree with all the discussion. But make sure, if not suits or any digestion problem happen then consult ur doctor & consume the raw vegetables. Before using any raw veggies or sprouts- you should wash the veggies with water not after cut the vegetables.
