Indian herbs to incorporate in weight loss?

Hi - been reading a few posts on how indian herbs can help in terms of weight loss & overall health... I would be interested in incorporating some into my diet.

Any advice on what specific herbs & how to easily use?

First of all, to lose weight, u need to have self control in ur eating habbits , taking specific diet and yet balanced. also, indian herbs wont help u if u dont keep control on ur eating habbits, there is no such magic .

lots of herbs in ayurveda but i would only say - be simple in ur diet, do regular exercise, cut of fat/oil/junk .
herbs may increase ur metabolism rates and do biological /chemical changes in ur body to aid in weight lose but point still remains, unless u have control on ur self, nothing will work.

so, not to get into herbs n all, when one doesnt has any deep knowledge about it, so better stick to simple diet plans and burn calories, drink lots of water and dont take foods that have excess fat, be nutrients conscious while eating.
u should know about the fat content of food item u r eating.
travel out /tour , this also greatly reduces your weight but no junk in journey which is difficult.
also , try to stay empty stomach for few time so body utilises the built in fat but which is slow process and useful only when a person has not eaten since few days.
become physically active and do lots of physical work. climbing stairs , walking, jogging , aerobics.

u have to plan your schedule.

    goodluck.

Herbs which may safely aid weight loss include the following:
    1. Cayenne contains a substance called capsaicin, which may stimulate digestion and increase metabolism and fat burning.2. Green tea contains caffeine and antioxidants that appear to stimulate metabolism.3. Seaweed, or kelp, is a natural thyroid stimulant, which may boost metabolism.4. Nettle is considered to be a thermogenic herb.5. Ginseng helps to boost energy and metabolism, but ginseng should avoid for pregnant & lactating mothers.
