How to use soya nuggets in food?

    Before cooking soya nuggets be sure to soak them in water for some time. You could also drop them in boiling water for five minutes. Soaking soya nuggets in water gives them the chewy texture similar to meat. When soya is processed into nuggets, the protein in it undergoes structural changes and forms a fiber like network. When the nuggets are dropped in water for some time, the texturized nuggets absorb water and get the consistency and chewiness of meat. After soaking them in water for some time, take out the nuggets. Squeeze out the water and the nuggets are ready for cooking.
