how to reduce weight naturally?

I do not want any supplements like herbalife or slimlife powders. Neither I want any amway products with multi level marketing stuff. What are the natural ways to lose weight?

    Hi Deeksha,

    Any food supplements will have some or the other side effect. It is good that you have chosen to go natural way only. Food supplements are not only un-healthy, but also the weight loss done using them is not permanent.

    You want to loose weight naturally, there is no mention about are you prepared to do Exercise?

    I can do walk / jog whenever I find time, but can't join a gym or so. I dont know if I am right, but regarding the food supplements like herbalife etc, I have heard people getting stone problem because of that. So I am really afraid of taking any supplements.

    Read the above mentioned link and the article....most probably will answer all your ur doubts...what is not covered there is....something about physical activity...
    Not necessary u need to go to zym to loose weight....that provides a positive environment and u will get like minded friends....and a complete body workout....
    If you can do walk/jog whenever time permits may not be that useful...one thing wt i hv understood it is all about deliberate practice....and need to do it every single day...like brushing our teeth...we never miss....
    Let me throw some light on couple of physical activities what u can do at house and that can help u manage ur weight....
    ¤Climbing the steps
    ¤skipping
    ¤push-ups [many diff types one can perform]
    ¤squats
    ¤lifting the light weight
    ¤crunches
    ¤pull-ups
    ¤leg rise
    ¤cycling in a laying down position
    i can go on and on....whatever mentioned above will really help to u do loose fat, gain muscle and manage ur weights....

I want to lose at least 30kgs before I visit Bangalore in December. Could you please suggest me on how to lose weight in this 4 months in a healthy way. I am so fed up and getting insulted and rejections on my proposals for being fat.     There is no healthy way to lose 30 Kg in 4 months. Please do not go for such an intense weight loss. Go for maximum 12-16 Kg in 4 months.

    @deeksha: I'd say just keep going how you are. There is no magical way to lose weight, but there are some ways that help facilitate it. Just make sure that you get plenty of exercise.

    Hi pooja,
    Have small regular Meals at least 4-5 time a day.
    * Consume 2-3litres of water/day
    * Eating Fresh Fruits and Vegetables in the form of salads.
    * Substitute white bread with Brown Bread and Maida with Whole Wheat flour.
    * Mix 25% of bran (chokar) and 25% of Soya Flour in your flour to make chapati.
    *Include skimmed or double toned milk.
    * Minimal Oil, Butter, Cheese, Curd usage
    * Reduce Sugar consumption to 1-2 teaspoon a day.
    * Have maximum of 2 cups of Coffee or Tea a day.
    * Have at least one citrus fruit daily (Orange, Mausambi (Lime), Guava (Amrood), Amla (Indian Gooseberry), Lemon, Pomegranate (Anaar) etc.
    * Avoid Fasting or Feasting. Don't starve. Don't overeat.
    * Avoid Late dinners and skipping breakfasts.
    *Increase ur physical activity like walking,cycling,Treadmill,jogging,Climbing the steps,skipping.
    *take Flax seeds.
    This will help u to reduce wt naturally
