to plan a diet it is important to understand the food guide pyramid as well as the need and requirement of the person you want to plan the diet for. the diet should be suitable in terms of calorie and maro as well as micro nutrient. you should make sure that foods from each food grioup have been planned in order to achieve the nutritional balance !

One diet plan should contains all 5 food groups which is cereals & cereals products, pulses, vegetables & fruits, fat & oil- limited qty, nuts & seeds, sugar- limited qty. Diet plan should be in balanced diet.
