    I am doing the Master cleanse fast or known also as lemonade diet. You can take only a drink prepared from lemons (or lime), maple syrup (in india a great substitution is sugar cane syrup) and red chilli powder (just a pinch). Ideally one should fast 10 days with this fast. I am on day 4. I hope to make it till 10.
    Breaking the fast is very important! You should ease out of the fast gradually. First day only fruit juices then next day you can add fruits to the diet and then couple of days of also adding vegetable soups. The ease out must be half of the duration of the fast.

    Fasting is an amazing experience. It's hard but i also love it :)

    i'd never suggest this fasting ...i tried but it led to severe outbreak of acne ... my face resembled a witch .This was due to the toxins that were released in the blood

    well, you didnt do it long enough then for acne to clear. it was just a good sign that you are getting rid of toxins and it is a part of the cleanse. i did it 3 times in my life till now and i love it. i am doing it again in December.
