Working on night shifts can imbalance the internal body clock. I have some friends who find it a bit difficult to follow a healthy diet during night shifts. Normally our digestive system slows down in the evenings and late nights. But when you are working in nights deprived of sleep you end up eating more and gaining pounds of weight. So avoid all spicy unhealthy and heavy food and focus on balanced food. Drink lots of water throughout the night to stay well hydrated. Organize your eating schedule as per daytime and strictly follow it. Avoid caffeinated drinks and munch on fruits or nuts to keep you going. Take a light healthy snack before going to sleep. Regular workouts are also essential to stay fit and healthy.
