    Diet can play an important role in lowering cholesterol.
    *Fibers help in lowering blood cholesterol levels.*Include more of fiber rich foods in diet like whole cereals and pulses,oats,vegetables and fruits.
    *Olive oil,fish,canola oil are rich in omega 3 fatty acid and help to lower cholesterol levels.

    Hi Kate ..foods like flax seeds,garlic,walnuts,almonds,are also very beneficial in reducing cholesterol levels

    Fiber is more important to you to maintain ur weight. Fiber makes you feel full so it lessens your intake & maintain the weight. Regular intake of fibers foods promotes ur bowl movements properly & lowers the cholesterol level in the blood. It is more beneficial for hypothyroidism with weight loss.

    Green tea is one of best drink to increase ur metabolism & digestion. Drink 2 cups of green tea in a day which burns the calories very fast & helpful in weight loss. It reduce the cholesterol in the blood.

    Take methi seeds & amla daily in the morning which helps to maintain the cholesterol in the blood.

    Olives contains naturally antioxidants, vitamin E, oleic acid, polyphenols and monounsaturated fat - good healthy fat. Helping reduce cholesterol.

    Flax seeds is one best seed for lowering the cholesterol. Eat as powder form or raw form daily in the morning.
