Binge eating disorder is more of a psychological effect,so the individual needs help from a counselor,a doctor and a nutritionist.A counselor cum psychologist can help the individual by giving healthy tips or some kind of therapy to deal with stress, depression and anxiety which leads to over consumption.A nutritionist may help by advising about healthy food habits, harmful effects of over eating, some physical exercises and the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.A doctor may give some medication besides the therapy to reduce stress or depression. Thus it has to be a combined effort to deal with this kind of eating disorder. Some close family members and relatives may also help in their own may.
