A few of us are very particular about having a protein rich diet. Vegetarians especially, are always speculating what would suit their requirements. How much protein do we need? The RDA proposes 0.8 grams of protein for every kilo that we weigh. The amount of protein we gain from each soyabean product differs. One cup of Soynuts gives us 60 grams of protein, where as One cup of cooked soyabean contains 28.6 grams of protein and one cup of tofu contains 20 grams of protein. You need to decide which form of soyabean you would like to include in your diet.
