Hmmm! Don't eat too much of raw onion! You know that onions make your mouth stink right? If you have plans of meeting your girlfriend or boyfriend then don't even think about eating it. If you're sitting at home, then you can eat a maximum of half an onion along with your lunch. If you eat it with curd rice then the taste will not be over powering. But remember that most curries and vegetables dishes have onion in them anyway and you don't specifically have to eat onion separately. Or you can even bbq onions and capsicum over a open flame and eat it.

Eat limited amount of onion. The regular consumption of onions, as little as two or more times per week, is associated with reduced risk of developing colon cancer, lowering the heart disease, good for hair, skin, etc.
