Proteins are very essential nutrient for our body.It helps in growth and repair of cells and tissue of muscles.Protein suppliments are taken whenone is getting inadequate amout of protien from diet or can be said that there protein requirement is not met by their diet.It can be taken by one who is trying to gain muscles,Body builders,One who not eat well, hostlers or by pregnant or lactating women who need some extra protein. But it should not consume by the one who is having proper diet,by one who have weak kidney's and digestive disordre or by person allergic to lactose or soy products.

Protein supplements are helpful for people who need extra protein because their daily requirements are not met by their regular diet. People like body builders, hostlers, people who do not eat well (and subsist on fast food or junk food). Even women during pregnancy or lactation require some extra amount of protein to ensure that all their bodily processes are working fine. But its better to get protein with natural sources.
