Black salt also known as rock salt is light purple in colour and is a little less salty as compared to normal salt. It has a variety of uses. It is better than the normal sea salt and has a little more amount of minerals as compared to the normal salt so it's healthier. It is used by high blood pressure patients in place of normal salt as it has low sodium. It cal also be used in sport drinks and in electrolyte water taken after weakness or fatigue as it has better electrolyte concentration than the normal salt.
