It seem that you are suffering from blood pressure. Low sodium content foods are advised to follow a low sodium diets. Some time these low sodium and high calorie foods are suggested for the heart patients and those who are to undergo surgery. These patients are supposed to gain weight and at the same time maintain low sodium content. But being health conscious solely will not do, you will need to take care of the taste buds as well. Try some snacks that cooked in olive oil. Fish and meat recipes cooked in the same manner will also do well. Avoid using tinned food as they only add to the sodium level. Peanut butter also serves the purpose of calorie but less sodium.
