    Hi Arya,

No side effects if women takes the bitter gourd juice but excessive consumption may cause mild abdominal pain or diarrhea for all . Pregnant women should avoid taking too much bitter gourd or its juice as it may stimulate the uterus that may lead to preterm labor.

No problem arya if u fast also but some of the points are important .

Avoid constipation by eating lots of fresh fruit and vegetables and bran cereal. Aim for faeces that are soft enough to change their shape as you push them out.

    Drink plenty of fluids.

Your diet must contain a high percentage of fiber.

Eat a light breakfast of some fruit, fruit juice and some multi grain bread. Include Salads as an integral part of your food intake, use radish, carrot etc.

Water and fruit juices too are useful when a person suffers from a lack of fiber. Drink plenty of water during the daytime and supplement this with fruit juices and butter milk. Taking radish juice at bed time is also very beneficial. Or else you can make a habit of drinking warm milk at bedtime. Yogurt ought to be consumed in large quantities.

Eat light food and skip red meat. You should completely avoid eating junk foods, oily and spicy food items.

    Piles home remedies
The black berry fruit is another effective remedy for bleeding piles. The fruit should be taken with salt every morning for two or three months during its season. The use of the fruit in this manner during every season will effect a complete cure and save the user from bleeding piles for his entire life.

Ginger is also useful in this disease. Half a teaspoon of fresh ginger juice, mixed with one teaspoon each of fresh lime juice and fresh mint juice, and a tablespoon
of honey, constitutes an effective medicine for piles.

White radish is considered highly valuable in piles; 100 mg of grated radish mixed with a teaspoon of honey may be taken twice daily in treating this condition. This vegetable can also be taken in the form of juice mixed with a pinch of salt.

    @ Malaika

Excessive consumption may cause mild abdominal pain or diarrhea for all. SO better to take weekly twice or thrice in a week, 1/2glass in a day is advisable. You can take alone or mix with cucumber juice or lemon juice. For best result take in empty stomach.
