    Hi LifeMojo,
    I have heard that eating a banana everyday,make a person fat.Also when i had a banana a day,i became chubby(not sure of weight)especially my face.
    However in the article it says that banana+milk reduces weight.
    Can you please clarify. Or it depends on a person's body on how it reacts to eating banana.

    A 100 gm banana has around 90 calories with very less (only 3 calories) coming from fat. Bananas offer the body instant energy and provide a good source of vitamin C, vitamin B6 and potassium. Also, banana contains a lot of easily digestable fiber, pectin. which helps in regularising your bowel very important in weight loss. and the form of carb it has will also satisfy ur hunger and kep u full for quiet some time, so its gud to have it as a midmeal, specially after a wrk out whn u feel very hungry and tend to binge eat due to hunger.. Thus, bananas provide both energy and nutrition without fat, with lot of fiber (to not to make you feel hungry), making them a great weight-loss food.

    Some asthmatic patients are allergic to banana.People with weak digestion,arthritis, diabetes and asthma should avoid this fruit.
    Don't eat more than three bananas at a time.
    Banana helps in regularizing the bowel movement and thus helps in preventing constipation.Being rich in potassium it helps in controlling high blood pressure.Adult and children both can benefit from this fruit in gastritis,colitis,gastric ulcer and other gastrointestinal problem.
