    Are you suffering from hashinimoto? I know a few people who have had this problem and they put on significant amount of weight. I heard that they found it difficult to lose weight and it might easier to give up hope than to persevere. But, you must find the will power to fight and make sure that you stick to a regulated diet and get good amounts of exercise, no matter how painful it might be. Eating oatmeal and raisins for breakfast is a good way to reduce weight. avoid sugar and use honey instead. Avoid sodas, chips and all such food items as they aid to weight gain. Good Luck

    Hashimoto is the disease caused by the inflammation of thyroid gland.Here are some diet tips given below-
    # First of all make sure that you are having medicines on regular basis as prescribed by doctor.
    # Consider taking your calorie requirements for the day and breaking them into smaller, 250-calorie mini-meals. Frequent smaller meals can help balance blood sugar, prevent fat storage, and help you feel less hungry in general.
    # Consider a low-glycemic and/or low-carbohydrate diet. This means you limit the amount of starches - such as bread, pasta and rice - that you eat, and eliminate refined sugars.
    # Eat a diet of low-fat protein and complex carbohydrates like vegetables and fruits which are high in fiber.there are some fruits and vegetables which has to be avoided like broccoli, cabbage, brussels sprouts, cauliflower, kale, spinach, turnips, soybeans, peanuts, linseed, pine nuts, millet, cassava, and mustard greens as they have goitrogenic effect.
