Look up healthy recipes and cook them. I don't know what health book you have but I am sure there are several healthy recipes in there and you should try them out. Don't be afraid to experiment and try to use new techniques as well. Include plenty of vegetables and other things like grains in your food. Experiment with foods that you have never cooked before. Try different varieties of fish and sea food. Never be afraid to make a mistake. It's only by making mistakes will you learn and get better. I can tell you this from experience. Good Luck!

In addition, you should look out recipes properly, the cooking methods and kind of cooking oil used. Looking out for baking, roasting, steaming method of cooking. Look out for hidden fats like use of butter, ghee or margarine.
