Your question is quite self explanatory in itself, but I'll just give you the answer in case you can't find it out. A diet that is rich in protein can help you in building much need muscles and in the overall growth of your body, because that's what proteins do - they help in body building and growth. People who frequently hit the gym eat meats that are rich in protein for this reason. If you're a vegetarian looking to build some muscle, you can try sprouts and other legumes and nuts that are rich in proteins. These can help you build some muscle.

High protein diet is especially recommended for body builders and nutrionists to help build muscle and to lose fat. When an individual is weight training they are forcing their body to break down muscle. The body will then try and repair the muscle so that when it grows back it grows back stronger—the result is muscle gain. Keeping protein intake high prevents the body from breaking down muscle tissue for fuel and will force the body to eat into your fat reserves. Protein is essential as it provides the muscle with amino acids required to repair the damage done by heavy lifting in the gym. Protein shakes can be taken post workouts as they take a little time to digest.
    Some high protein foods are:
Tuna, chicken breasts, soya, turkey, lean meat and beef, eggs and egg white, nuts, milk, beans and other supplements of protein.
