Diet to avoid Weight Gain after a Diet ;)

Some diets help in weight reduction, but still people gain back the weight they lost even though they don't overeat/binge.
Can someone plz suggest what we should do to avoid weight gain?

that's always the most difficult part i think.
if you lose weight you shouldn't want it to go quick, because that means you do not really changes your way of thinking about food in the long term.

what a diet really should be is something you will be doing for the rest of your life... it's a certain way of thinking about your food.

a good way to keep control is to get on the scale often... and if you see it go up, you know you should restrict better.

    good luck

    Hi,

Keep maintaining same portion control everyday, don't skip the meals, include more of fiber foods(whole cereals, pulses, vegetables, fruits) and increase the physical activity(yoga, brisk walk, any exercise) for 45mins to 1hr.

Even if have reached your target weight, you need to focus on your diet. There are certain basic Do's and Don't which you need to follow throughout your life time. Like stay away from deeply fried stuffs, oils, butter, chocolate etc. Make it a point to have once in while your favorite food. Don't do low calorie diet, but at the same time check out for the portion size.
