Vitamins should come from food, not supplements, which are mostly artificial vitamins. Eat a variety of vegetables, especially green leafy vegetables such as lettuce, cabbage, spinach, kale, etc. which are natural source of vitamin.
Since digestion of carbohydrates (especially refined sugar, white flour, high fructose corn syrup, etc) requires G6PD, products containing these ingredients should be limited.
Red blood cells are more susceptible to damage by oxidative substances in G6PD deficiency. This can be minimized by eating a diet rich in antioxidants such as
Berries: blackberry, strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, black currant
walnuts, sunflower seeds, pomegranate, ginger, garlic and onion .
