    Detox Diets should not be done very frequently for the purpose of weight loss. One should detox only once in a week maximum, for the purpose of cleaning the lever and the intestine.

    Detox diet is meant mainly for curative purpose meaning as a preliminary measure to cure any disease condition. It can also be used once in a while to flush toxins from the body which enhances the body's nutrient absorbing capacity. Hence using detox diet once a fortnight in specific health conditions and once a month in healthy individuals stabilizes the health.

    Detox is a good way to remove the excess of fat,salt simple sugars which one might have had as a result of overeating or eating ''wrong foods''.it actually helps to detoxify the body n helps d body 2 get rid of all the toxins. this diet comprises of skimmed milk,fruits,veg salads without any dressing,boiled vegetables.so its always advisable to go for detox diet after having junk foods,fast foods.

    Detox diets encourage a low-fat, high-fiber diet, cut back on caffeine and alcohol and promote a healthier way of life. So it can be done once in 10 - 15 days.. This also helps in cutting down on some weight but we should not depend on them to lose weight, boz if taken on a long run the body will be deprived of some major nutrients like protein, carbs, etc..

    Detoxification is primarily done with vegetable diet. Once the detoxification is done fruits are given as a start up diet followed by normal diet gradually.
