Can quick fit diets work?

    Yes , it works more effectively in the initially, but this kind of unhealthy diet plan can lead to many health problems. Quick fix diet means , the diet which is very strict diet plan & eating only particular food for wt loss. Side effects depends on person to person & diet plan . For example: Diet pills/diet powders are having fast effect in weight loss but after leaving this for sometimes you will get many health probs like nausea,vomiting & sudden weight gain.
    Only fruits & vegetables or soup , this will works great in the initially, but if you using this diet for longer period then you may loss of muscle strength , so you can rebound weight gain due to muscle loss. Some of other example quick fix diet plan are beach diet , Only non-veg diet or atkins diet plan , this has many health benefits like hair loss, skin pigmentation, liver damages ,kidney damage, regain of weight.

    I agree with you Lakshya..quick fit diets are not advised for a permanent weight loss. These are crash diets that will help you to loose some weight initially,but then as you revert back to your normal routine and food habits,you tend to gain back the weight. So Nandita..I would suggest you to consistently follow a low calorie diet and at the same do exercises regularly. Any aerobic exercises would do.
