Can one eat roated corn or boiled sweet corn while trying to lose weight??

I usually like to have a roasted corn or boiled sweet corn cob as an evening snack. After doing some research I learnt that corn is high in starch and carbs. Is it true?
So I started having it for breakfast........not everyday ofcourse but once in a while.....
Am I supposed to avoid it completely or is it alright to include it in my diet once in a while??

    Hi Anita,

yes corn has tarch in it, and we several times ask people on a weight l oss schedule to avoid corn , but you dont need to give up on it completely, as a corn whether on cob or the kernels also provide food fiber. hence you can definately go for your favourite food twice in a week, as long as you can keep butter / any other form of fat and salt away from your corn.
