    Proteins are one the important source of nutrients required by our body. They are the building block of our whole body. While doing strenuous exercise or every time you work out you are tearing down the muscles and then rebuilding them. Proteins are necessary to repair and rebuild your muscles. Protein supplements are good for health like whey protein, soy protein. However, there are several natural sources of protein which are very good for health like egg whites, soyabean,milk and milk products, pulses and legumes, fish, chicken and other poultry products. Excess use of supplements are not recommended as it might lead to high uric acid formation in your body, as uric acids are by products of proteins.

    Protein supplements helps by providing your body with necessary building blocks used to create amino acids that is needed to build muscle tissue. In addition, whey protein supplements may play a role as an antioxidant and immune system builder. It also enhances hormonal and cellular responses.It is for people who need extra protein because their daily requirements are not met by their regular diet. People like body builders, hostlers, people who do not eat well (and subsist on fast food or junk food). Even women during pregnancy or lactation require some extra amount of protein to ensure that all their bodily processes are working fine.But its better to get protein from natural sources and not by supplements by having a healthy and balanced diet.
