The diet doesnot have to be considerably low in all kinds of carbohydrates,but yes all the simple carbs like starch,sugars and refined cereals have to be avoided as these foods are usually devoid of fibers which helps in reducing weight and keeping you healthy.

Hi Nishthha..low carbs diet is fine in loosing weight,but make sure that you include at least the complex carbohydrate sources in your diet. These foods are rich in fibers that help in loosing weight.
