Amla or Gooseberry juice is simple and easy to make. You can make it in five minutes with a cooking time of fifteen minutes.Take a quarter kilo of gooseberries and after a thorough wash cut them into halves after de-seeding them.Ensure the cut pieces are really small. Then add pieces of ginger and salt to the gooseberries and adding enough water, blend them really well to form a smooth mixture. Strain and store in refrigerator. Since, this recipe contains no added sugar it is extremely low in calories. if you prefer to drink it sweet, you can add honey for added health benefits and taste.
