There are plenty of foods that you could have to raise your energy levels. If you're feeling tired and drained out, bananas, eggs, nuts, apples and avocados are good energy boosting foods. Another option is to go in for protein packed foods. Fish, vegetables, lean, white meat, beans and chickpeas are all great. Sugar does give you a short-lived energy boost but is otherwise not too healthy. Thus avoid it.
