What carbohydrate-containing foods are allowed in a 1200 Calorie Low Carb Diet Plan?

    You can include whole grain cereals,unrefined cereals,pulses,green leafy vegetables,Fruits like apple,orange,Guava,melon,pear etc.

    I agree with above discussion. Carbohydrates are two types simple & complex carbs. Simple Carbs foods are Table sugar,Corn syrup,Fruit Juice,Candy,Cake,Bread made with white flour Pasta made with white flour,Soda pop,Candy,All baked goods made with white flour,Most packaged cereals,Honey,Milk,Yoghur,Jam,Chocolate,Biscuit & most of refined products. These kind of foods should be limited or sometimes avoided in 1200 calories diet plan.
    Complex carbs foods are: Barley,Oat bran bread,Museli,Low fat yogurt,Whole meal Brown rice,Spinach,Onions,Okra,Zucchini,Tomatoes,Lentils,Kidney beans,Apples,Grapefruits,Pears,Carrots,Oranges, papaya, watermelon, musk melon, sweet lime, etc. These kind of foods are good in fibers , vitamins & minerals which is good for health. You can include in ur 1200 calories diet plan.
