Wheat Flour vs. Gram Flour

Does gram flour have higher carbohydrate (as in glucose) content than wheat flour? I mean, which is better for diabetics?

    Gram flour is made up of chana dal which is high in carbohydrates but no gluten. Whole wheat flour is made by whole wheat which is full of nutrients & good for diabetes. You can enrich with bran or soya flour to increase fiber content which helps to maintain glucose level in the blood.

    Wheat flour and gram flour are completely different from each other and have their own benefits. If we talk about whole wheat flour,then it is rich in dietary fibers and B vitamins. Gram flour is known for the protein content present. So for diabetics its better that they have benefits of both the flours. A combination of whole wheat flour (50%),gram flour (25%) and on addition soya flour (25%) should be used for diabetics. These all 3 are good in maintaining blood sugar levels.
