Wheat flour and gram flour are completely different from each other and have their own benefits. If we talk about whole wheat flour,then it is rich in dietary fibers and B vitamins. Gram flour is known for the protein content present. So for diabetics its better that they have benefits of both the flours. A combination of whole wheat flour (50%),gram flour (25%) and on addition soya flour (25%) should be used for diabetics. These all 3 are good in maintaining blood sugar levels.
