Diabetes is a common disease. You need to be careful about what you eat when you are diabetic. Type 1 diabetes is called insulin dependent diabetes. You need to a have food low in fat, low in cholesterol, and low in salt and sugar. You need to plan a meal with complex carbohydrates like whole grain bread, cereals and yes you can have pastas. You need to keep a watch on your blood sugar levels, blood pressure and cholesterol levels. You also need to have regular eye check-ups, visit your dentist regularly, quit smoking and exercise regularly. A healthy mind is a healthy body.

Pasta is a cereals products, it is made by refined flour so better to avoid. If you want to add paste in ur diet then go for whole wheat paste or multi-grain paste. While making paste add more of vegetables to increase the fiber intake.

In addition, don't have with white sauce dressing, instead go for tomato based dressing with lots of vegetables. Have it in the reduced quantity.
