The normal blood sugar level for an average human being is between 82 to 119 md/dl. The blood sugar levels will vary from person to person and it can also differ according to what you eat. After every meal there will be a spike in the blood sugar levels and this is nothing to be worried about. Checking for sugar levels after a meal is not viable one has to wait till the count drops back to normal. If the sugar count drops too low then it can lead to a situation known as hypoglecemia. The symptoms of this condition incude lethargy, shaking and twitching and generally weakness.

Normal sugar level for healthy person (without diabetes):

Fasting sugar level in the blood is 70-110mg/dl
After food sugar level in the blood is 110-140mg/dl

Normal sugar level for diabetes person:

Fasting sugar level in the blood is 80- 120mg/dl
After food sugar level in the blood is 110-160mg/ dl.

It’s important to check your sugar level regular when you have high sugar level or any illness. For normal person when you feel any one of diabetes symptoms then you should check & consult your doctor.
