During any exercise, specially aerobic, blood glucose levels drop because of glucose uptake by the active muscles. Thus there is better utilization of glucose by the body and less glucose remains left in the blood serum. Regular exercise for 40-45 minutes daily is a boon for diabetics.

    Hi

Doing regular exercise for 30-45mins in a day- this is very useful to maintain glucose level in the blood, reduces the pressure as wel but before doing exercise one should have plenty of water or eat 1-2 biscuits or 1 cup of sugarless tea or coffee or skimmed milk to avoid hypo-sugar.

Exercise is very essential to manage diabetes especially type 2 diabetes. With mild to moderate level of regular exercises, the sensitivity of insulin increases. Thus, keeping the blood sugar level lower. With the moderate intensity workout, the glucose uptake by muscles increases than the normal rate. But,with higher intensities, the blood sugar level will increase temporarily.
