Diabetes II is major world wide problem. It seen in adults . You can't cure this problem but you can maintain by diet modification, life style modification & physical activity.
Dietary modification:
*Maintain 4-5 small freq meals with healthy snacks.
*Avoid fasting, skip the meal.
*Portion control is very important.
*Eat low glycemic carbs- fruits, vegetables, green leafy vegetables, whole grains, dal , high fiber cereals, legumes( high in fibers & high in protein, low in carbs & low in fat).
*Reduce salt intake & salty foods.
*Avoid junk foods, empty calories drink, coffee, tea, fatty foods & refined foods.
* Drink plenty of water & warm water with lemon after every meal.
Physical activity: exercise is more important to control ur glucose level in the blood. Do any kind of cardio exercise or brisk walk for 45mins in a day & 5 days in a week . Eat some healthy snack or drink skimmed milk or buttermilk or tender coconut water before going to exercise to maintain ur sugar level(hypoglycemic symptoms). Alone with exercise physical activity like keep ur self very busy. Do any simple by ur self.
Life style modification:
*Avoid smoking, alcohol(limited), red wine is good when compared to other alcohol drinks. Sleep well- atleast for 6-7 hrs. Relax ur mind.
