    Add the following to your diet.Add soluble fibers – oats, fruits, veg & legumes, whole grains, brown rice, citrus fruits
    *Avoid refined carbohydrates like sugar as they increase triglycerides
    *Avoid anything in which the nutrition label reads "partially hydrogenated vegetable oils"
    *Increase monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFA) such as olive oil, canola oil, sunflower & safflower oil in your diet.
    *Increase consumption of fish/fish oil, flaxseeds & walnuts.

    Foods like-soya beans,garlic,kidney beans,fenugreek seeds,also help in reducing cholesterol levels.

    Avoid fatty foods, bakery foods.
    Add plenty of water in a day.
    Drink methi water or warm water with lemon daily in the morning to lowering ur cholesterol.
    Eat raw amla or amla juice daily in ur diet which helps to control the cholesterol in the blood.
